Get ready, fellow dragon-enthusiasts and time-travel junkies, because the World of Warcraft Dragonflight Patch 10.1.5 is swooping in like a dragon with a hot date. With a buffet of new features like the Evoker specialization, the Dawn of the Infinite megadungeon, and open-world events like Time Rifts, this patch is here to tickle your dragon-scales and keep your WoW life interesting.
While Patch 10.1 had us spelunking in the Zaralek Cavern and ushered in a new season, Patch 10.1.5 is the life of the party. Sure, it’s mainly here to supplement Patch 10.1 content, but it also brings some quality-of-life changes like removing the “congrats, you now owe us for your flying upgrade” costs and tweaks to our time-lord Chromie.
After endless weeks of living in a suspense akin to the final episode of a TV series cliffhanger, Blizzard finally spilled the beans on June 20. The Fractures in Time Patch will be touching down on the Dragon Isles on July 11.
Yes, you heard it right, North American players get to play with dragons on July 11, while Europe, sorry, you’ll have to twiddle your thumbs a bit longer. The patch will be rolling out there on July 12, after the weekly maintenance. Yeah, just after the janitor finishes his work.
Now let’s talk about the bells and whistles in Patch 10.1.5:
Augmentation for Evokers
Think you know what Evokers can do? Think again. Emberthal and Ebyssian are spicing things up, unlocking the Black Dragonflight essence and helping Dracthyr Evokers tap into their inner dragons. Enter: Augmentation Evokers. This new spec lets you deal damage and bolster your allies’ damage numbers. Talk about a win-win!
Warlock Club: Now Open for More Members
Patch 10.1.5 is also welcoming Night Elves, Draenei, Lightforged Draenei, Pandaren, Kul Tiran, Tauren, Highmountain Tauren, Mag’har Orcs, and Zandalari Trolls to the Warlock club. There’s a new questline called Beginning Impositions that gives you a swanky new imp pet customization. Get ready to sling some curses and command some demons!
Dawn of the Infinite: Your Timey-Wimey Megadungeon
We all know that when dragons and time-travel mix, things get exciting. The new megadungeon, Dawn of the Infinite, is about to up the ante. With Bronze Dragonflight and Infinite Dragonflight at the forefront and a showdown with Morchie, the evil Chromie doppelganger, it’s going to be an epic adventure.
The 10.1.5 Patch is also removing all those pesky restrictions on unlocking allied races, scrapping flying training costs, giving Mages a makeover, and throwing in some other goodies like Whelp Daycare and Time Rifts events. There’s something for everyone!
Let’s not forget about our furry Worgen friends. They’re getting five new fur colors. Because who doesn’t love a makeover?
New World Events
Think you can ride a dragon like a pro? Prove it in the new dragonrider racing world event. Challenge 16 races across Kalimdor and earn those Riders of Azeroth Badges for some sweet rewards.
There are also several updates to action bar icons, arena unit frames, character tooltips, and more. And for all you transmog fans, you can now track uncollected appearances by Shift-clicking them in the Collections pane. Isn’t that just transmog-nificent?
So buckle up, WoW adventurers, because Dragonflight Patch 10.1.5 is here to take you on a wild, dragon-infused, time-bending ride! Don’t forget to pack your dragon repellent!
