Hello everyone! If you’re a fan of Wrath of the Lich King Classic, we’ve got some cool updates about the class changes headed your way in Phase 4. What’s interesting is that these changes are brand new – they weren’t in the original WOTLK. Let’s dive in!
Hunters, there’s good news. You’re getting a new skill: Trap Launcher: Explosive Trap. It’s a neat addition that’ll help you place your traps more precisely. However, keep in mind that you won’t be able to use this in PvP Arenas or Battlegrounds. The idea behind this change is to address the inconsistency with Explosive Trap’s hit detection in PvE. Basically, it should help you get more consistent results without messing up your PvP game.
Tweaks for Druids, Priests, and Shamans:
Healers, there’s been a slight shift in how some of your spells work. Wild Growth, Circle of Healing, Ancestral Healing, and Divine Hymn have been adjusted to prioritize players over pets and guardians. While these spells will still heal critically low-health pets, they’ll mainly target players who’ve taken damage. It’s a small change, but it’s all about making your healing more efficient and effective in those clutch moments.
Warlocks, a couple of things have been tweaked for you:
- The internal cooldown of Demonic Pact has been reduced from 5 seconds to just 1 second. This means you don’t have to hold back your pet for too long, waiting for the perfect moment to attack. It’s all about making gameplay smoother and more fun.
- Demonic Pact will now consistently be 10% of your spell power. No more guesswork.
- Here’s a neat one: the cooldown for Summon Infernal will now reset after an encounter ends, making it align more with other long cooldown abilities in the game.
And that’s a wrap on the latest class changes for Phase 4. It’s always great to see the game evolve, hoping everyone has a great time playing. Let us know your thoughts on these updates!
